Oppo A9 (2020) Specifications, Price, and Release Date

In order to remain competitive, Oppo updated its mid-range A-series. The new A9 2020 sports a powerful processor, four back cameras, and a sizable battery. It includes several cool features including stereo speakers, reverse charging, and a 20:9 display that is taller than typical. Although it is cumbersome and challenging to use, this phone looks stylish.

It is especially problematic for the more expensive model of the Oppo A9 2020 as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor is already widely available on devices that cost less than the Oppo A9 2020. You get between 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but rival products are more potent, have better features, and look better for the same price as the 8GB RAM option.

The screen is decent, and while the HD+ resolution is a bit disappointing for general use, it does help heavy games run relatively better. Oppo's ColorOS skin boasts a lot of features, but it's riddled with bloatware and notification spam. We discovered that two of the four back cameras are exclusively used for certain portrait filters, giving you less freedom than you might anticipate from a phone with a quad-camera configuration. However, the main 48-megapixel camera takes excellent photos.
