With budget hardware and Android Go, the Nokia C20 Plus strives to provide the essentials, but it falls short in practice. The phone is durable and functional, but it is also pretty bulky and not the best for one-handed use. Even with 3GB of RAM on the more expensive model, the Unisoc processor can hardly keep things together, making the software experience sluggish. Given that there are just a small number of current Go-branded Google apps and a few third-party lite apps from the Play Store that assist preserve space, the pared-down Android Go software appears, at best, half-baked. The Go apps are cumbersome and less powerful than their standard Android equivalents. Things are made worse by the cameras, which produce subpar image quality, the battery lasts, however, it takes around 3.5 hours to fully recharge.
