The Moto Z Play, like its elder sister the Moto Z, is a mid-range product from Lenovo with full Moto Mod compatibility. The phone is significantly thicker and heavier, but this results in a better grip and the retention of the 3.5mm headphone jack. The 5.5-inch full-HD display has vibrant colors and excellent sunlight legibility. The Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage power the phone. The 16-megapixel camera performs admirably in daylight and not so well in low light. The battery life is also excellent, with more than a day's worth of usage possible.
